Custom welded gates — farm names, ranch brands, logos, horse silhouettes, and any design you can sketch — welded into steel and built to outlast generations.

Swing vs. Slide vs. Cantilever — How to Choose

The right gate starts with the opening and the ground around it. Swing gates are the simplest and most economical, but they need clear space to arc into — a single swing needs its full width of clearance, and a double swing splits that in half. They also need reasonably level ground across the swing path. Slide gates travel along the fence line instead, so they work where there's no room to swing — but they need clear fence line equal to the opening for the gate to retract into. Cantilever gates are slide gates that float above the ground on rollers, so gravel, mud, snow, and uneven pavement never jam a track. For commercial yards and Kentucky weather, cantilever is usually the honest recommendation.

Sizing a Gate for Your Equipment

Measure the widest thing that will ever go through the opening — then think about what's coming next. A gate that fits today's pickup should also fit the delivery truck, the trailer, the tractor with the mower deck, or the emergency vehicle that needs in at the worst moment. On farms, think about hay equipment and stock trailers. On commercial sites, think about box trucks and fire apparatus access. We measure openings on the site walk and will tell you straight if the width you're picturing will cost you later.

Gate Hardware and Your Warranty

Gate hardware is the part of a fence that works hardest — hinges, latches, and drop-rods cycle every day. That's why our 1-year workmanship warranty specifically covers gate hinges, latches, drop-rods, and gate-frame welds, along with the workmanship on operator installs. Operator hardware itself carries the manufacturer's coverage. If a gate we hung sags or a latch fails within the first year, we come back and make it right at no charge.
